I’m Choc Westcott,

I have a beautiful wife with 4 awesome kids. As a family we live the lifestyle of ranching and run a cattle ranch in Wikieup, AZ. My biggest accomplishment besides being a husband and a father is being a CNFR qualifier in 2008.  I’ve placed at the George Straight team roping and am a 3x Turquoise Circuit finals qualifier thus far.  My dream is to be a NFR qualifier, and I am working hard to get there! Without the support of my family, the help from my sponsors and the Good Lord above all of this would not be possible.

I grew up in the small town of Snowflake Arizona. I always dreamed of being a professional rodeo cowboy. As kids we were always pretending to be the greats such as Jake Barnes, Clay Cooper, Chad Masters, Jade Corkill, Derrick Begay, Cory Petska and so many others while roping the dummy. I worked many different jobs before I decided that training horses and roping is how I was going to make my living. It was always just a dream to be like those guys but now that dream has become reality thanks to all of my amazing sponsors! Every time that I get down and feel like I don’t belong I remember that Jeremiah 29:11 says. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, for a future and a hope”. This scripture reminds me that God put these dreams in my heart for a reason! Never give up and trust in the Lord for his plans are so much greater than mine!

Family is very important to me; I am a mother of two and they make my world go round. Training horses that last a lifetime is my second focus. It’s something that never gets old, besides being a mom, I truly think it is the most rewarding job. On the side I create graphic designs bringing people’s ideas to life. Whether it be a Stallion ad, logo, banner, website, I love it all! I wouldn't be able to do what I love without the support of my family, friends, and sponsors!
